Kasia Madera is a BBC world news journalist and presenter. For over 18 years she has worked on many of BBC News flagship programmes.One of her particular highlights was presenting on the night of the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony. Kasia is bilingual in Polish and English and secured an exclusive interview with the Polish president Andrew Duda which was his first television interview with an international broadcaster
Kasia is an active member of the U.K.’s Polish community she c-hosted the sell-out and once-in-a-lifetime star studded concert at the Royal Albert Hall organised by Janusz Sikora-Sikorski, marking the centenary of Polish independence. Kasia hosted a vigil at Trafalgar Square in memory of the late Polish president Lech Kaczyński and the first lady who died in the Smoleńsk air crash
Kasia has been honoured Polish Embassy as the Honorary Ambassador of Polish Women in the UK
